HL7 Tool

Iguana is an HL7 integration engine that allows for communication between database tables and HL7 messages. Iguana runs as a standalone service in Windows, or daemon in Unix-based operating systems, and can be easily used to perform the following functions:

* Parse HL7 messages directly into a database;
* Generate HL7 messages directly from a database;
* Route and filter HL7 messages to multiple target systems;
* Transform HL7 data into another flavor of HL7; and
* Translate HL7 data to/from XML.
